The Pools

The Glacier Hot Pools offers visitors to Franz Josef a relaxing natural sanctuary, located just two hours drive from Greymouth, six hours from Christchurch and a five hour drive from Queenstown.

Nestled in a heavily wooded rainforest, beneath mature 30 metre tall trees, the temperatures of the three main pools and three secluded private pools range from 36 to 40 degrees.
