Are sandflies a problem around the pools?
Whilst we will never fully be able to avoid sandflies, we do have a mosquito eliminator located out in a remote area of the complex, to attract them away from the pools!
How is the water heated?
The water is headed by two 600Kilowatt LPG condensing boilers.
How long does it take to fill and drain each pool?
The public pools vary between 45mins to 90mins. The private pools, which are only filled on demand, take just 8mins to fill and 4mins to drain.
Can I put my head under the water?
Yes. The water is glacier water. It is not from a natural thermal spring which sometimes carries an amoebic meningitis risk.
Are there different temperature pools?
Yes. The pool temperatures vary from 36 C to 41 C.
